Mandala Airlines began flight operations in the Archipelago in 1967, when Indonesia was just starting to rebuild an economy that was devastated by political and economic problems during the sixties.
From that time, Mandala Airlines has grown into one of the largest private airlines in Indonesia. Mandalas flight route now embraces more than 20 big cities in Indonesia, supported by a fleet of 12 Boeing 737-200 and 2 Boeing 737-400.
In 2002 Mandala Airlines won The Most Potential Brand in Airlines Service in the INDONESIA BEST BRAND AWARDS.
The acquisition of Mandala Airlines by Cardig International in the middle of 2006 heralded a significant change with the recent addition of Airbus A320 to the fleet.
With its depth of human resources and the clear vision of new management, Mandala Airlines is now ready to further improve service and offer the best to its passengers.
